Great food and awesome people

I love the food here based on taste, but lacks the beautiful presentation of food, other than that it is packed at breakfast,lunch and dinner times.Even though it's always packed and doesn't quite represent food, the Taste is what drives my taste buds to go here. It's also on the way to university so I usually stop here and lunch and then go to school.

Pinacolada, vegetarian guacamole burger , crispy beautiful fries , the non veg sampler , chicken burger and the best is "chicken fajita quesadilla "....!!

Always has really good food! It never lets me down. My Favorite is the Tapatio plate. It has 2 beef or cheese enchiladas, rice and beans, 2 crispy tacos and a chalupa. All for about 10 dollars!

It was pretty good and waitress was very sweet.

This place was suggested by my friend who used have a breakfast taco every day. They open early at 6AM and closes by 2PM. Their opening time is really good as not many can wait up to 10 to have their first meal of the day. I had a potato egg taco, its not spicy and perfect to start your day if you are in a hurry. You can also order through phone and pick up.

My go to Mexican restaurant here in town. They make their corn tortillas home made and they are so good! I always order their Chicken fajitas with rice and refried beans. Can’t go wrong with that meal

Probably the best Tex-Mex in the area. Prices are good and portions are generous. Chicken and shrimp fajita was very good as were the sides. Only complaint was rice was a bit salty for me.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back north and the Fajita options are amazing. The Diabla sauce was up there with the best I’ve ever had, I wish I could a gallon to go. This spot is definitely worth the drive off the highway if you are craving some spicy Mexican food.

Not bad. I liked what I got, but everyone seemed in a hurry to close. Didn't go too close to closing, but still. Food did come out quick!

Good food. The service is pretty fast, but it's always full of people so the waiters can't go to you and cater to you as best as they could. For the price, the serving sizes are very large, but the food does not suffer much in quality. It is authentic Mexican food... well, as authentic as you can get when you're deep in the heart if Texas. Their drinks are ok, for my preference, the aguas frescas are too sweet, however it should be noted that everyone else really enjoys the aguas. Great place to eat, by yourself, on a quick date, or with a family/large group.

Always a great place for breakfast, I can’t believe the way coffee tastes here. Nice ambience and crowds. Very well maintained.

The location is nice and relaxing once your inside the friendly staff welcomes you. The food (breakfast or lunch) is excellent and the pricing is fair.

Server was friendly, and service was pretty quick. Food was excellent, but had to ask for a to-go box - way more than I could eat at one time. Very reasonable price, for as much food as you get

The service was good and the portions were a good size, but I just didn't care for the steak ranchero I ordered. It was my first time there, maybe their other plates are better.

We have been going to the restaurant for over 7 years. The owners are so friendly and many of the staff members know us. They always have food and drinks available. Sometimes I have the problem of trying to figure out what to order as I love their Shrimp Quesadilla, Chicken Faijtas, Chalupas, and so much more.

Serving authentic Mexican food El Tapatio stands as one of the best in the city. Must try : papa ranchera and breaded fish and of course salsa !!!!

Service was great but I ordered the special..potatoes and eggs plate..the eggs were dry to the taste will not order that plate again. I ordered glass of lemonade and it was extremely sweet had to order a second glass half water half lemonade.

They are always friendly, the food is wonderful. We eat there every week. Last night we were unable to dine in so I went in to get take out, it was so perfectly packed and organized. I would really give the restaurant a five.

Best breakfast tacos in town. If you order potatoes, they use hash brown type potatoes and it's great! Also the best salsa around for your chips

Excellent mini (street) tacos & beans. Chips were fresh and crisp. Salsa was just right.

Food is extremely delicious, employees are very helpful and attentive to the tables, provides a great natural Mexican restaurant vibe. Unfortunately the tables are slightly crowded, but otherwise amazing.

I positively had a great time eating & enjoying those delicious margaritas & great service! The free chips & bean & chilli dip added some extra spice 2 our enjoyable meal. I would definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant!

The food and service were excellent. The chips tasted homemade and came with two types of saldas. The portion sizes were good for the money.

While there are several Mexican restaurants in kingsville they're all good but the one that stands out not just for great service and great atmosphere but the food is authentic mex/tex and so delicious and savory yummy yum yum is my feeling at the table and wondering how soon I need to come back for more

I've been to this restaurant probably hundreds of times...I can honestly say...I've only been disappointed once and mentioned it on my next visit...never been disappointed again...☺

El Tapatio is one of the best Mexican restaurants this city has to offer. The staff is great. Always greeted with a smile and if they know you well, they usually know what you like already. The cooks can be seen cooking and smiling to the Spanish music in the background. I love to dine here for all my meals on any given day except for dinner on Sundays since they are closed. Viva la Raza!!!

Amazing taste in reasonable price and hygienic As well

The food is good, I go at least weekly for breakfast and always get the special. Don't order the lengua it has no flavor.
